Manu Feildel and Pete Evans are the judges who make contestants take crazy risks on the hit cooking show My Kitchen Rules.
But when competing with each other, they dish up the compliments as they taste each other’s efforts.
“What I like about Pete’s chilli crab is its presentation,” Manu says. “It’s juicy, saucy and sweet, and who doesn’t like chilli crab? It has a lot of ingredients but it’s not complicated.”
And while Pete has been known to give contestants a tough time over their kitchen skills, he is impressed with Manu’s fresh trout salad.
“It’s an elegant dish,” he says.
